Welcome, welcome, welcome…
I’m so grateful you stumbled upon my personal humble abode!
This is my sanctuary, my safe place. It’s another way to express my creativity. I didn’t think I’d ever do anything like this.
I’m at my spiritual doorway, cracking it open, just a little bit. Let me share with you some of my favorite things. I’m a little nervous. So let’s see how it goes.
I don’t know about you, but I long for a place I can play like a child and be creative. A place to dream and explore all that God has for me. Do you ever have those childlike desires? Or do you possibly deny them? Either way, it’s one of my passions.
My most important one, is the time I spend with the holy spirit. Every day it usually begins right after I get my cup of tea. That’s when God and I spend time together and discuss what his plans are for my day. Not the other way around. Of course, that’s sometimes much harder than it sounds. But it’s always the best beginning.
I will end this first post by leaving you with a Bible verse that seems so befitting for us crafty creatives.
“For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.” Psalm 139:13-14
A personal paraphrase or rephrase if you wish. God, you created all of me, you knitted me, again, you creatively made me inside my mother! I’m in awe of you. Because you made me with so much thought and carefulness. You are exceptional Lord. Because of you, I know it well.
God bless you and have a safe journey with Him until we connect again.
